Our Philosophy

Cedarsoft has a very simple philosophy - to provide cost effective yet powerful IT Management solutions to companies, resulting in value for money and rapid return on investment.

Cedarsoft staff will work with prospective clients to understand the requirements, build a solution that meets these requirements and assist the client's staff to gain approval internally. This approach depends on building strong relationships with the key stakeholders and developing a "trusted advisor" status as part of the sales process. It is Cedarsoft's firm belief that investing time in this process is highly beneficial to the client and the ongoing and, hopefully, long term nature of the relationship.

In order to meet these objectives, Cedarsoft has carefully chosen the technology partners to work with and will only provide solutions that meet strict criteria, which include:

Management

Chris Shepherd - Founder

Prior to founding Cedarsoft, Chris spent 25 years in the IT Software and Service sector working for companies such as Computer Associates and Quest Software, focussing on pre-sales and delivery the Enterprise Systems Management tools Unicenter and Foglight.

Chris has also spent 5 years as Head of Service Delivery for one of the UK’s leading ISP and Managed Hosting Provider, ensuring service levels were met for corporate clients’ mission critical web infrastructures. Chris is accredited to ITIL Practitioner level.

With roles ranging from pre-sales, sales and service delivery, Chris has the depth and breadth of knowledge required from a commercial and technical perspective to deliver quality solutions to clients, and the service delivery knowledge to understand what the client’s drivers are internally.
